South Central Invasives Partnership

We envision a collaborative partnership that reduces the negative impacts of invasive species and improves the health and biodiversity of our native ecosystems to build resilient communities.

About Our CISMA

A Cooperative Invasive Species Management Area, or a CISMA, is a local organization that brings together land owners, land managers, and citizens to coordinate action and share expertise and resources to manage invasive species.

Upper Sugar River Watershed Association was awarded a grant from the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources to form a CISMA in the Wisconsin counties Sauk, Iowa, Lafayette, Green and Dane.

Our goal is to assist participating organizations and land owners in sharing knowledge, resources, priorities, and coordination to more effectively manage invasive species in the region.
